搬走了的舊居,清拆了的舊鋪和建築,

留下來是過去的痕跡和記憶。

所有的物件還在,除了「 我們 」。

Moved away from the old place, old shops and buildings have been demolished,

the only thing left is traces and memories of the past.

All the objects are still here, except "us".

This is my Honors project of Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Visual Arts.
It is a series of ceramic work / installation. I collected some local clay from an old urban district - To Kwa Wan and mixed into the ceramics work. It is talking about the past memories, and the district which I live before is changing. After a few years I go back to the place those building and old local shop have been gone, some hotel and luxury apartment have replaced. Also, there is a sound work recorded from a old shopkeeper (selling herbal tea, old local shop) talking about his past story and the faces it was in that district.

The work talking about the development of the city and the human warmth of those past things. Things are changing, people are moving away or buildings even demolished, only those objects left.

In the process, those specific object itself is important that they sepak for themselves by their own trances, emotions and memories. They are making by ceramics casting & the object itself.
